With solemn reverence, we commemorate Annie L. Townsend of Island Falls, Maine, whose life came to an end on May 31, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dennis and Ruth Violette (Carr); her husband Wallace Townsend Jr. of Island Falls; her brothers, John, Freeman Violette of Massachusetts and Frank Violette of Benedicta, ME; her son Jeffrey (Jacquline); and her granddaughter April.
She is survived by: her sons, Tracy (Jean) and Garth (Angie); her brother Alton Violette of Patten; her grandchildren, Jason, Rachael Townsend, Garth Townsend Jr., Amy and Jim Magill; her great grandchildren, Breyauna, Joseph, Emma, Rae-Lynn and Reagan; and her niece Patty Violette of Iowa.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Island Falls United Baptist Church (64 Cleaves St, Island Falls, ME 04747). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Island Falls Cemetery.
