He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Richards and Mary Richards (Batchelder); and his siblings, Lloyd, Laurence, Larry and Lorraine Dawes.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Richards of Jay; his children, Michael Richards (Sheila) of Farmington, Daniel Richards (Alison) of Farmington, Ronald Richards (Peggy) of Jay and Nancy Dumeny (Rick) of Jay; and his sister Lois Fortier (Roger) of Jay. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren.
