He was predeceased by : his parents, Percy Hall and Marjorie Hall (Ireland); his son Bruce E. Hall; his grandson Brandon Hall; and his siblings, Bud Hall, Louise Bennett and Laura "Babe" Clark.

He is survived by : his wife Helen James; his sons, Stephen Hall (Robin) and Robert "Scott" Hall (Wendy); his grandson Stephen Hall (Sue); and his daughter-in-law Julie Becker (Chris).
