It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred Peabody of Jonesport, Maine, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sewall Steele and Ruth Steele (Norton); her siblings, Clifton, Goodwin, Bernice, Glenda and Maybelle; her sons, William and Robert Fraser; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Fraser; and her grandson Joshua Peabody.
She is survived by: her son Lawrence Fraser of Cathedral City, California; her daughter-in-law Nancy Fraser of Woburn, Massachusetts; her sons, Stephen Peabody (Margaret) of Addison and Timothy Peabody (Annette) of Jonesport; and her stepson Dana Peabody (Carol) of Columbia Falls. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Homes (47 Main St, Milbridge, ME 04658). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
