It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Morris Jr. (Kennebunk, Maine), born in Lincoln, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 28, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sons, Scott, Eric and Jeff; and his brother Don (Jean). He is also survived by his daughter Shell, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
In 1968 he was hired to convert an 18th century British Army barracks into a research hospital studying Schistosomiasis on the island of St. Lucia for the Rockefeller Foundation.
