It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacqueline Fortier in Kennebunk, Maine, who passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mailhot and Eugenie Mailhot; her husband Henry Fortier (Hank); her daughter Denise Fortier-Kuttner; her brothers, Roger and Roland; and her sister-in-law Jackie Mailhot.

She is survived by: her siblings, Lucille Casavant of Auburn, ME, Raymond Mailhot (Diane) of Kennebunk, ME and Reginald Mailhot (Anne) of Wells, ME; her brother-in-law Denis Fortier (Pauline); her daughter Michelle Fortier-Oosterman (Wayne) of Lyman, ME.; her granddaughters, Camille Oosterman of Beverly, MA, Elyse Oosterman of Hallowell, ME and Io Fortier-Kuttner (Saint Hereford) of Waynesboro, VA; Jackie and Hank. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren, Gram.
