He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Dempsey and Anna Mae Dempsey (Thompson); his brothers, Vincent, Jack and Thomas; his in-laws, Michael and Marjorie Kenney (Cassidy); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Kenney, Jackie Kenney and John Sparano.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mary Dempsey (Kenney); his children, Kenneth (Bridget), Doreen (Kenneth Morris), James (Jennifer) and Meeghan; and his grandchildren, Riley Dempsey, Brody Dempsey, Molly-Kate Dempsey, Bryan Morris, Kelly Morris, Connor Morris, Bailey Morris, Cooper Dempsey, Olivia Dempsey, Tiffany Dempsey, Kelsey Perri, Erin Perri, Jack Perri and Colin Perri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bibber Memorial Chapel - Kennebunk (67 Summer St, Kennebunk, ME 04043). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice Foundation of America.
