He was predeceased by: his wife Louise M. Young (Thomas); his parents, Mary Allen and Obey Young, Sr.; his son Ronald Young; and his siblings, Wilbert Young, Sr., Obey Young Jr. and Dorothy Holmes.
He is survived by: his sons, Felix Jr., Nathaniel and Christopher Young; his sisters, Mary Boyd and Beatrice Jones; his grandson Shaun; and his daughter-in-law Barbara Ann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Epiphany Baptist Church (5200 Cannes St, New Orleans, LA 70129). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
