He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Annie L. Goodwin and Raymond F. Goodwin; his grandparents, Eleanor and J. Sherman Waldron; his son-in-law Anthony; his daughter Mary "Ellie" Pereira; and his grandchildren, Jessie and Anthony "Teddy". He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

“Mister goodwin worked for my grandparents mr and mrs edward s crocker In the 1950s. He contacted me last summer and told me that he would like to fix the green wooden gate at the beginning of my driveway on gerrish island. He refused to accept any money for this kindness. He said he was repaying the kindness of my grandparents, who had helped him get through business School.”
