He is survived by: his children, Amanda Kahl (Derek Brewer) of Medford, Elyse Catalina (Andrew) of Waterville and Jessica Chapman (Benjamin) of Glenburn, Maine; his grandchildren, Grayson, Wolfgang, Lysander, Ella, Molly, Henry and Arthur; his sisters, Gail Kahl-Martel (Jean-Luc Martel) and Linda Zemke of Morganton; and his niece Laura Bogert (David) of Deerfield Beach, Florida.
