He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Lemieux and Joseph George Carriere; his brother Roger Carriere; his siblings-in-law, Allen Fitch, Danny Fitch, Gregory Stanley, Vincent Apicella, Robert Scarlatelli, Patty Fitch and Joanne Fitch; his parents-in-law, Dorothy Fitch and Merritt Fitch; and his nephew Toby Fitch.

He is survived by: his wife Warrene Stanley Carriere of Year's Eve; his son Lucas Stanley Carriere; his daughter-in-law Dr. Amy Julia Wang; his granddaughter Rune Ophia Carriere-Wang; his sisters, Terry Apicella of Milford, CT and Jeannette Scarlatelli of South Yarmouth, MA; and his siblings-in-law, Ernest Fitch (Terry Fitch) and Janet Stanley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
