He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Finley and Velma Finley (Ryder); his sisters, Alice Tweedie (Robert), Charlotte Steeves (Gerald) and Sarita Finley; his siblings-in-law, Marion Conley (Linwood) and Floyd McNinch; and his stepfather Elmer "Felix" Fernald.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian R. McNinch; his sons, David Jr. of Hermon and Luke (Diane) of Levant; his grandchildren, Nicole of Levant and Brian of Windham; and his sister-in-law Joyce Macomber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
