With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Duncan Raynes Jr. (Lewiston, Maine), who passed away on April 30, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Andrew Duncan leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Raynes and Dorothy Raynes (Potter); and his siblings, Paul, Ruth Raynes and Phyllis Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Raynes (Welsh); his sons, Peter (Suzanne) and Gordon; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Hopke (William) of Canyon Country, CA. and Donald Welsh (Nancy) of Venice, FL.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
