He is survived by: his uncle Jack; his wife Ruth Rowe Richards (Given); and his children, James Richards III (Martine), Lori Richards, Judith Campbell (Jim) and Susan Wong (Peter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
