He was predeceased by : his mother Rolande LaPointe (LeCompte). He is survived by : his father Richard LaPointe; his stepmother Sharon; his sister Rhonda LaPointe-Lachance; his brother-in-law Mike Lachance; his brother Derek LaPointe; his nieces, Charlotte Lachance and Lana LaPointe; and his nephew Jason LaPointe. He is also survived by animals: dogs Papa.
