He was predeceased by: his mother Rolande LaPointe (LeCompte). He is survived by: his father Richard LaPointe; his stepmother Sharon; his sister Rhonda LaPointe-Lachance; his brother-in-law Mike Lachance; his brother Derek LaPointe; and his siblings' children, Charlotte Lachance, Lana LaPointe and Jason LaPointe. He is also survived by animals: dogs Papa.
