He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid J. Lemay and Marie Anne Beauchesne Lemay; his significant other Jeanne d'Arc Chouinard; and his brothers, Raymond and Bertram.

He is survived by: his children, Paul (Rita) of Lewiston, Marcel (Cathy) of Poland and Lucille Hall of Lewiston. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
