He was predeceased by: his parents, James Coutts and Christine Coutts (Miles). He is survived by: his wife Frances G. Coutts (Hill) of Limestone; his children, Richard M. Coutts Jr. of Danbury, CT, Sue Ann Coutts of Danbury, CT and Becky Coutts of Lewiston; his stepchildren, Scott Montgomery (Cindy) of Caribou and Brenda Smith (David) of Windham; and his siblings, Doug Coutts of Virginia Beach, VA, Judy Withers of Mechanic Falls and Cynthia Greenlaw (David) of Mechanic Falls. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
