He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Laplante and Jeanne Laplante (Perrier); and his parents-in-law, Albert and Jeanne Marquis (Jutras). He is survived by: his wife Joline; his children, Richard Laplante (Brenda) and Lisa Galarneau (Ron); his grandchildren, Matthew Laplante, Danielle Laplante (Eric Meader) and Troy Galarneau; his sisters, Constance Marley and Lorraine Klibensky; his siblings-in-law, Maurice Marquis, Laurette Gagne and Bernie Marquis; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Galarneau (Sarah) and Candra Cardinal (Daniel); his pet Brady; and also, Grace, Alex, Ava and Amelia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
