The family announces the passing of Simonne (Baillargeon) MacKenzie of Lewiston, Maine on September 19, 2026. Simonne, born on August 9, 1928, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Baillargeon and Josephine Baillargeon (Morin); her son Mark Tardiff; and her siblings, Henry Baillargeon, Jack Baillargeon, Gerome Baillargeon, Cyrille Baillargeon, Marguerite Thibodeau, Emma Pelletier, Noella Kirouac, Lea Lacasse, Marianna Dutil and Lucianna Guerrette.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Ford (Morris Ford) of Bucksport, ME; her stepchildren, Mary Rocheleau (Ronald Rocheleau) of Lewiston and William MacKenzie (Lisa MacKenzie) of Lewiston; and her grandchildren, Hope Stevens, Travis Ford, Ben Rocheleau, Leslie Pettersson, Sarah Carey, Heather MacKenzie and Kirk MacKenzie. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home (253 Pine St, Lewiston, ME 04240). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter & Paul Basilica - Upper (122 Ash St, Lewiston, ME 04240).
