He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Marx and Marie DeMotte Miterko. He is survived by: his sister Randee Barry of Washington Ga; his former wife Lyn Marx of Hope; his daughters, Sarah Marx (Brian McGill) and Amy Marx (Chris Koerber); his stepchildren, Jenny Tibbetts, Joshua Stumpff (Michelle Holder) and Nathan Stumpff (Yasmeen Hossain); and his grandchildren, Eli Marx McGill, Hazel Stumpff, Eva Stumpff, Sierra Koerber-Marx, Jasper Marx McGill, Bianca Stumpff, Maya Koerber-Marx, Willow Koerber-Marx, Hank Tibbetts and Jed Tibbetts.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Riposta Funeral Home (182 Waldo Ave, Belfast, ME 04915).
