With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clarence Lee Taggett of Lincoln, Maine, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Haskell (Cote) and Willie Lee Causey; his brother Bill Taggett; and his uncles, Valentino Cote and Clarence Cote.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Bailey; his daughters, Angie (Bub Hanscom), Lisa and Willie Wright; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Cody, Domanick, Sebastian and Emalee. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, he would have preferred donations sent to Lincoln Center Baptist Church, where he attended with Thelma.
