He is survived by: his siblings, Walter "Walt", Janice Vars, Donald "Donnie", Leslie Vars and Judith "Judy" Vars (Jerry LaFrancois); his daughter-in-law Pamela Vars; and his sister-in-law Shirley (Steve Jipson). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bowers Funeral Home (7 Lee St, Lincoln, ME 04457). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Townline Hill Cemetery.
