He was predeceased by : his parents, Viola Reed and David Reed; and his siblings, Nancy, Betty, Mary and Arthur.

He is survived by : his wife Sally Reed; his children, Oralie O'Neil, Susan Colson (Chuck), Shari Mercier (Tony), Beth Call and Oliver O'Neil (Bub); his grandchildren, Michaela, Christian LaPlante, Michele Orr, Joshua, Nate and Shane Colson; and his siblings, Paul Reed and Sally Bellerose. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
