He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Perry and Vera Geraldine Perry (Stone); his stepfather Merle Shepherd; his granddaughter Ellianna Ray; his brothers, Jeff Perry, George Perry, Charles Perry, Jerome Perry, Ralph Perry, Wally Shepherd and Bill Shepherd; his stepbrother Richard Shepherd; and his son-in-law Bill Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Perry of Litchfield; his children, Fay Pouzol (Dan) of Greene, Roberta Snyder of Litchfield, Gary Perry Jr. (Gloria) of Litchfield and Michael Perry (Heather) of Durham; and his brother Roxy Perry of Litchfield. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
