With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James H. Kachnovich of Livermore, Maine, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Marion Smith (Kachnovich); and his half-sister Colleen Hitchcock. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kachnovich of Livermore; his children, Timothy Kachnovich (Jessica) of Livermore, Toby Kachnovich (Jennifer) of Jay, Courtney Chasse (Bruce) of Madawaska and Owen Keene of Lewiston; his grandchildren, Tyler (Renae), Ainsley, Aubrey, Alaina, Kobe, Mason and Samantha Chasse; and his nephew Peter Hitchcock (Joyce) of Rutland, Massachusetts..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Finley Funeral Home (15 Church St, Livermore Falls, ME 04254). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (1 Church St, Jay, ME 04239).
