It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murray Barker of Lubec, Maine, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Murray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Murray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Barker and Catharine Barker; his wife Maxine Brown; and his son Kevin. He is survived by: his sons, Dale (Linda), Dana (Natalie) and Gregory (Kelley). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
