It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol A. Peterson (Machias, Maine), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvard Salisbury and Louise Salisbury (Stewart); her son Harvard Peterson; her grandson Kenneth Peterson II; and her brothers, Dennis, Harvard and Edwin Salisbury.
She is survived by: her husband Paul A. Peterson; her sons, George, Mark, Kenneth (U. S. Army) and Chance Peterson; her grandchildren, David and Emily Peterson; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Peterson, Dean, Georgina Peterson, Vernal Peterson and Karen Salisbury. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Machias Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (180 Court St, Machias, ME 04654).
