He was predeceased by: his father Ralph; his daughters, Dalla Pennell and Maragaret Wood; and his sisters, Erna Davis (Charlie) and June Kennedy (Carrol).
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Beverly" Wood (Davis); his children, Marla Beam (Keith Pennell), Denise Geel (Colin), Dale Wood, Jr. (Brandy) and Kimberley Wood; his son-in-law Glenroy Wood, Jr. (Emily); his siblings, Gerald Wood (Judy) and Beverly Richardson; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Ross and Vivian Chandler; and his close friend Helen Nicely. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
