It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alley (Machias, Maine), born in Jonesport, Maine, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his loving wife, Laura (Pratt) Alley; his daughter, Tricia Lynn Alley and son-in-law Jimmie Neal; daughter-in-law, Sandy (Farnsworth) Alley; grandchildren, Travis Dwayne and Bayleigh Elizabeth; special niece, Amy Lynn, husband, Shane, and son, Evan; his siblings, Carla Lougee of Vallejo, CA, Julian "Dusty" Alley (Mary) of Addison, Cynthia Kenney (Dale) of Winterport, Dean Alley (Teresa) of Jonesport, Teressa Cultrera (Phillip) of Prospect Harbor, Jimmie Alley of Jonesport and Tammy King (Bruce) of Sanford; and his friends, Anthony Martin of Grantham, NC, Ben Woods of Berwick, Bobbi Jo and Roger Dame. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernestine Alley (Bryant) and Leo Alley; his son Todd Michael Alley; his brothers, Dwayne and Joey; his parents-in-law, Frances and Malcolm Pratt; and his friend George Marshall of Raleigh, NC..
