She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Donovan and Clara Donovan (Tyler); her son James R. Johnston; and her sister-in-law Carole Donovan. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Savage; her siblings, Stuart Donovan and Joan Davis (Bruce); her daughter-in-law Katherine Johnston; her grandchildren, Malisa Johnston (Mattias Wahlstand) and Neil Johnston; her great grandchild Henry James Johnston-Wahlstrand; her nieces, Katelin Potter-Rivera (Jacob) and Jinny Clifton (William); her great-nieces, Juliette and Adeline; her close friend Diane E. Ballard; and her pets, Lucy, Buffy and Tiger.
