It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Ashley (Machias, Maine), born in Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on December 4, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan Ashley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Phillips and Rita Phillips; and her sibling Glenn Phillips. She is survived by: her spouse Glenn Ashley; her sons, Mathew Joy of Orleans Massachusetts and Tim Joy; her daughter-in-law Angie; her granddaughter Emma of North Carolina; her stepson Tim Ashley (Kristina); and her grandson Connor of South Yarmouth.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter in her honor.
