He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Marie and James Richard Pettegrow; and his daughter Jana Elaine Pettegrow. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Kathleen (Clint Albee) of East Machias; his sisters, Patricia Pettegrow (Tom Meserve) of Buxton, ME and Marlene (Danny Sprague) of Machiasport; his nieces, Penny (Kevin Maker) of Marshfield, Jenessa (David Pritchard) of Jonesboro and Amber Sprague of Bangor; his grandchildren, Amishia Smith, Blaise Pelletier and Rayne Pelletier; and his close friend Anne Newman of Lubec.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bucks Harbor Cemetery.
