With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward McHenry Sr. of Madawaska, Maine, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John McHenry and Amanda McHenry (Turgeon); his stepson John Dixon; and his siblings, Gerald (Jerry), George, John Jr. (Buck), Shirley, Frank and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Joan McHenry; his son Ted McHenry (Jennifer) of Limington; his stepdaughters, Debra (John Clavette) of Madawaska and Cheryl (Jon Corbin) of Kentucky; and his brothers, Arnold McHenry (Huguette) of Madawaska and Pat McHenry of Michigan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
