We announce the death of Felix E. Lavoie of Madawaska, Maine, who passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloi Lavoie and Laura Lavoie (Martin); and his siblings, Robert, Martin Lavoie, Cecile Raymond, Aurore D'Amour, Lorraine Picard and Louise Ruest.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Lavoie (Long); his children, Raymonde Desjardins (Yvan) of St. Basile, N. B, Denyse Michaud (Alan) of St. Agatha, Donald Lavoie (Diane) of Madawaska and George (Deb) of Frenchville; his grandchildren, Michelle Desjardins, Dany Desjardins, Dominic Lavoie, Danielle Ruby, Sam Lavoie, Jake Lavoie, Kate Lavoie, Justin Michaud and Alex Michaud; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Lucas, Thomas, Aya, Phoebe and Eloise.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (337 St Thomas St, Madawaska, ME 04756). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Thomas Cemetery (174 Main St, Madawaska, ME 04756).
