He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ellis Dechaine, Rinette Cyr and Gerald "Toby" Deschaine. He is survived by: his daughters, Lee Flickner (Brett) of Folsom, California, Elaine Thibeault (Brian) of Madawaska, Maine and Danielle Knighton (Steven) of Tempe, Arizona; his friend Jeannette Violette; his grandchildren, Christian, Danielle, Nicholas, Curtis, Aaron, Travis, Brianne, Sam, Alex and Josh; his stepgranddaughters, Erika and Karlee; and his siblings, Mike Dechaine (Joyce), Joe Dechaine Jr. (Marlene), Roger Dechaine, Diane Daigle and Terry Lagasse (Norman). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Church (337 St Thomas St, Madawaska, ME 04756). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery (337 St Thomas St, Madawaska, ME 04756).
