With solemn reverence, we commemorate Theo Cyr of Madawaska, Maine, whose life came to an end on October 9, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Cyr and Ernestine Cyr (Michaud); his wife Marguerite Cyr (Theriault); and his siblings, Roland Cyr, Jeannine Morneault, Rina Cyr, Rino Cyr and Mathieu Cyr.
He is survived by: his sons, Alan Cyr (Debbie) of Connecticut and Steve Cyr of Van Buren; his granddaughters, Monique and Christina; his great grandchild Jay; and his siblings, Onile Cyr (Gaetane), Marc Cyr (Mona), Gerald Cyr, Nicole Aubin, Laurette Desjardins (Eric) and Huguette Cyr.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lajoie Funeral Home (114 10th Ave, Madawaska, ME 04756). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (337 St Thomas St, Madawaska, ME 04756).
