He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Alward and Arnold Alward; his brother Arnold "Arnie" Alward; his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Tammy Michaels; and his pet Banjo.
He is survived by: his wife Maria D. Michaels; and his children, David Michaels Jr. (Elissa), Rhonda Michaels, Tina Michaels, Adam Michaels (Rusti-Lynne) and Jaimie Day (Chad). He is also survived by grandchildren, a great-grandson, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mattawamkeag Baptist Church (209 Main St, Mattawamkeag, ME 04459).
