He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix McQuade and Alice McQuade (Murray); his wife Anita Smith; and his siblings, Frank McQuade, Joanne Boutaugh and Barbara Dempsey.

He is survived by: his children, Lorie (Steve Peabody), Robin (Bill Blake), Rick McQuade (Lynn) and Charles Brown. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Millinocket Cemetery.
