He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Edgar and Myrtle Ellis (Sumner); and his siblings, Wanslea Volsky and Teddy Lee. He is survived by: his significant other Jane "Polly" Ellis; his children, Kent Ellis and Kristie McLeod (Jack); his stepchildren, Judson Gerrish III, Rick Gerrish (Leanne), Jane Ames (Doug) and Valerie Gerrish; his siblings, Mike, Andy Ellis, Amy Floresca, Delura Traywick, Dawn Apperson and Barbara Roberts; his granddaughter Paige; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Ellie and Asher. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

I never forgot his act of charity and kindness.
