With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Allen Peckham (Mount Desert, Maine), born in Bar Harbor, Maine, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Peckham, and Hope M. Peckham, Jr. (Butler); and his sister Harlene Soper. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Howard of Bar Harbor; his son David William (Susanne) of Mainz, Germany; his brother Clarence Peckham (Brenda) of Casa Grande, AZ; his niece Theresa Hanson of St. Cloud, MN; and his nephews, William Peckham (Lisa) of Roscoe, IL, Barry Soper of Victor, NY and Brian Soper (Kathy) of Blue Hill. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several grandnieces and nephews.
