He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight A. Brown and Lois Brown (Buckley). He is survived by: his wife Mary (Moore); his children, Dwight A. "Sam" Brown, III (Sarah) of Raleigh, NC and Wendy A. Brown of Brewer; his grandchildren, Quinn A. Brown of Raleigh and Cara A. Brown of Brewer; his sisters, Holly (Ken Shea) and Bonnie (Walt Cousins); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Moore (Mia); his pet Cole; and his nephews, Sean Savoy and Dwight. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home (113 Franklin St, Ellsworth, ME 04605).
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Dwight's memory may be made to either the Union Congregational Church of Ellsworth Falls at PO Box 635, Ellsworth, ME 04605 or to the SPCA of Hancock County at 141 Bar Harbor Rd, Trenton, ME 04605.
