He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmelzer and Carroll Schmelzer; and his siblings, Frank Schmelzer Jr. and Dorothy King. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Livingston; and his siblings, Margaret Salmon, Jane Reynolds and Jack Schmelzer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
