He is survived by: his former wife Marilynn Hooper (Ebert); his children, Robert Ebert Sr. (Christine) of Blue Hill, Chris Carter (Jean Vermette) of Brewer and Peter Carter (Courtney Porter) of Belfast; his grandchildren, Robert Ebert Jr. and Jessica Ebert; his great grandchild Mark Ashe (Lisa) of Sullivan; and also Andrew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his second wife.
