She was predeceased by: her parents, John Whalley and Doris Whalley (Sadler); her husband Kenneth Opdyke; and her son Douglas Opdyke. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Hesseltine (Kern) of Brewer and Suzanne Burns (JF) of Mt. Desert; her daughter-in-law Cindy Opdyke of Jacksonville, FL; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Benjamin, Sarah Briggs, Anna Pirila, Michael McKracherne, Bethany Klein, Aaron Opdyke and Heather Holliday. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
