It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Hisler (Mount Desert, Maine), who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Hisler to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth A. Higgins and Sarah E. Higgins (Clark); her children, Lorraine Gray and Merle Hisler; her sisters, Anita, Jackie and Olive; and her granddaughter Felisha Gray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amber Austin (Jeff) of Sullivan, Denise Carrow of Dixfield, Sonda Dee Hamilton of Mariaville, Cammy Edgecomb (Ross) of Mariaville and Merlene Flewelling (Dick) of Hancock; her brother Philip Higgins of Fl; and her pet Tilly. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
