We announce the death of Lawrence Anton of Naples, Maine, who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 82. Lawrence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Lawrence will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Lawrence will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Lawrence’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anton and Beatrice Hueber; and his brother William Anton. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Brown and John Anton (Diane); his stepdaughter Christa Dacus; and his stepgranddaughter Christiana Carlini. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
