Donovan Gunner Smith Obituary
Donovan Gunner Smith, age 31, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Thursday, June 19th while surrounded by his loved ones after giving his all in a battle for his life. Born August 24th, 1993 in Lewiston, ME, he was a lifetime resident of his family's childhood home in Minot, ME. Donovan left an imprint on everyone he met. He was a kind soul that you couldn't help but love. He would give you the shirt off his back or the starter out of his truck if it meant helping others. Donovan had the brightest smile and the most infectious laugh. When around him you couldn't help laughing until you were in tears and your stomach hurt. His home was a home for everyone whether friend or foe. Best known for his love of music & his mechanic abilities, he will be missed by many. Donovan, better known as "Smitty", "Donna", or "Donny" but his friends and loved ones, is predeceased by his father, Frank Smith, and best friend, Joey Pelletier. He is survived by his mother, Sandra Pellerin, and step-father, Micheal Beaucage. His sisters, Victoria "Tori" Stockwell, Elizabeth "Liz" Stockwell, and Taylor "Birdie" Smith, his brothers, Christopher "Chris" Jarvis and Joshua "Josh" Jarvis, his girlfriend Shyann Dunbar, godmother Terri Scott, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. A celebration of life will be held Friday July 11th from 3:30-7 at the Amvets hall located at 1095 Lewiston Road in New Gloucester Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated thank you and hope to see you there.
