We announce the death of Edith R. Manter of New Sharon, Maine, who passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Gatchell and Madeline Gatchell (Merrill); her husband Peter C. Manter; and her nephew Martin D. Bolduc. She is survived by: her children, Crystal Gregor (Darrel), Kenneth Jones and Sue King (Mark); her siblings, Elaine Currie and Merrill Gatchell (Lucille); her grandchildren, Dylan Hebert (Andrea Flaherty), Cassaundra Harmatys and Adam King; and her great grandchildren, Lexus, Thayer, Dylan and Isla Hebert.
