She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Johnson and Ellen M. Johnson (Larson); her husband Eugene Alward; and her siblings, Wilbert Johnson, Wesley Johnson, Gwendolyn and Marilyn.
She is survived by: her children, Delbert Alward, Alan Alward (Margaret), Debra Woodard (David), James Alward (Dede) and Jeanne Pelletier (Gregory). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her first great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Northern Maine Veterans' Cemetery (37 Lombard Rd, Caribou, ME 04736).
