Phillip Thebarge Obituary
We announce the death of Phillip Thebarge of Norridgewock, Maine, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 94. Phillip will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thebarge and Yvonne Thebarge (Charrier); and his sisters, Lucille LaPlante (Emile), Jeanette LaPlante (Donald), Bernadette Meunier (Leo) and Corinne Thebarge.
He is survived by: his wife Reta Arlene Witham; his children, Gary Thebarge (Betsy), Brian Thebarge (Gwen), Gail Pelotte (Roy) and Lori Laney (Glen Jr.); his sister Mary Maxwell of Florida; his siblings-in-law, Richard, Florence Witham and Glenda Thebarge; his grandchildren, Derek Thebarge (Julie) of Mechanic Falls, Kris Thebarge (Lindsey) of Sidney, Darrell Pelotte (Jessica) of Waterville, Nicholas Pelotte (Sarah) of Oakland and Megan Shorey (Nicholas) of Oakland; his great grandchildren, Matthew Thebarge (Katriana), Baby Thebarge, Rachael Thebarge, Ava-Jo, Brady, CJ Shorey, Dawson Pelotte, Tyler, Lexi Elliott and Kallaway Thebarge; and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Maxwell, Maralyn Maxwell, Merle Witham and Elizabeth Witham. He is also survived by his wife and children.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church -Christ The (283 Water St, Skowhegan, ME 04976). The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phillip's memory to the Town of Norridgewock, PO Box 7, Norridgewock, ME 04957 for a memory brick in Norridgewock's Veterans Memorial, located in Norridgewock.
